Life is a spiral. Let yourself be moved by it.

Relational, IFS-informed online therapy in Minnesota.

Life inevitably asks something of us.

Relationships change. We experience loss and rejection. We become parents. Our work changes. Our bodies change. As life spirals on, we can lose touch with who we are, what we need, what matters, or what is true.

Therapy can help you develop a deeper relationship with yourself so that you may find greater clarity and capacity to move forward. As you become more connected, you begin to see familiar patterns from new depths, and more clearly: who you are and what you truly want.

My work helps develop the clarity, flexibility, and vitality to meet each turn in your life's spiral more fully.

In session, I move between talking, noticing what's happening in your body, and slower experiential work — including guided visualization and IFS parts work when it's useful.

Theoretically, I work from a psychodynamic and relational lens: I pay attention to the patterns in how you relate to yourself and to others, and I care about you being able to say true things out loud without having to manage my reaction to them. I do not collapse you into a diagnostic label, and view each person as multi-layered.

I also pay attention to the body — sleep, nourishment, movement, and the rhythms of your life — because how you're doing physically shapes how much capacity you have for this kind of work.

The goal isn't to become someone new.

It's to become more able to live as yourself despite what arises.

I work with a small number of private-pay clients, entirely by telehealth, so we can work together from wherever you are in Minnesota.

If that resonates, I'd love to talk.

I'm Andrea, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota with six years of experience working with individuals and couples.

I believe most of us are too close to our own experience to see it clearly on our own — it's hard to get outside the spiral you're standing inside of. Having someone truly understand your inner world can offer that outside vantage point.

I try to help people feel that kind of understanding without reinforcing the fears that keep them stuck.
